About usThe Student Guidance Service is open to all undergraduates and postgraduates from all Schools across the whole University. We offer confidential advice on any matter relating to your studies or any issue affecting you and your academic progress, for example:

The Student Guidance Service is:
- independent from Faculties and Schools;
- completely confidential;
- part of the Univeristy of Manchester's network of student support services;
- run by a small team of part-time advisors, some of whom are members of academic staff.
Where to find us
You can find us near to the Accommodation Office on the First Floor of University Place. Reception is the desk at the far end of the atrium.
